The Best Mascara Ever: MAC Opulash Mascara Review

Hello all! I'm here today with the promised review on the best mascara that I've ever tried. That mascara would have to be the MAC Opulash. Let's get into the review!

This is by far my favorite style of brush because it grips every lash and coats them to perfection. This particular tube of mascara is kind of old and dried up, but I don't use it anymore as of right now. I haven't had the chance to go and purchase a new one, but the Maybelline Colossal Volum' mascara that I just did a review on is perfect and easily accessible right now. The formula is a bit on the drier side, but it isn't so dry that it's flaky; this is truly the most perfect formula I've ever come across. This mascara volumizes and lengthens to the extreme! When I wear this, my lashes almost hit my eyebrows, which is crazy awesome. It never clumps and you don't have to worry about getting the waterproof version because the regular version can last through sweat, oil and tears. Even after twelve hours, the mascara still looks perfect and my curl hasn't dropped one bit. There're no smudges or flakes. This is my absolute number 1 mascara, so if you're looking to try it, I highly recommend it!
I hope this review helped out some of you! Apparently, I'm on a mascara reviewing roll with these posts. Anyway, thanks so much for reading and have a wonderful day!

Maybelline The Colossal Voum' Express Mascara Review

Hey everyone! Here is the update that I promised on the new Maybelline the Colossal Volum' Express Mascara. I've been using this mascara for only a few days, but it's an amazing mascara!

As you can tell from the picture above, the brush is quite large. There are a good number of bristles and it's a standard brush in the sense that it's not made of plastic. The big brush can cause issues if you have a smaller eye space or if you want to apply this on your lower lashes. I haven't had any issues with smearing, smudging or flaking, which I consider a win because it's been almost 100 degrees here. It's amazing for length and volume; it pushes my lashes up and holds them there without drooping. The formula is slightly more wet than some other mascaras, but not so wet tht your lashes will stick and clump together. There is a faint rose scent that apparently all Maybelline mascaras have. I may do a comparison of this mascara and the Falsies Flared, which I loved as well. This one though, I feel is way better than the Falsies Flared. I love how this brush is straight and the fact that it holds up throughout the day. All in all, this mascara is the second best mascara I've ever tried. I'll do a post on my most favorite mascara next.
I hope this short review helped some of you out! Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!

L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara Review

Hello everyone; I hope you're all doing well! A few days ago, I decided to try out a new mascara, just because I was tired of the Maybelline Falsies Flared. I went to Ulta with the hopes of trying out and loving the L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara. I bought the waterproof version because some reviews said that it could smudge or flake easily. Well, they were right. Even with the waterproof version, it smudged on me like no tomorrow. It was great in volumizing and lengthening, but it just smudged too easily. I would have raccoon eyes within 30 minutes of applying it, and that's staying inside in an air conditioned and cool environment. I loved the definition it gave my lashes and it was probably the closest dupe to the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes. The tarte mascara had issues with smudging on me as well. I just picked up the Maybelline Colossal Volume, so I'll probably put up a review of that within the week.
Thank you all so much for reading and I hope this helped out some of you!

Eylure Pre-Glued Lashes Review

Hello everyone; I hope you're all doing well! Today I'm bringing to you a review on the very first false lashes that I've ever tried. I picked up these Eylure pre-glued lashes from Ulta last week to use for a photoshoot. That was my very first venture into buying false lashes, so I figured that self-adhesive lashes would be the best bet. Without further ado, let's get into the review.
Eylure Eylure
I have both the 117 (left) and the 070 (right) style. I apologize for the stock photos, which came from Ulta.com, but I've already used my lashes and any picture I take of them wouldn't do them justice. I decided to cut both sets into half lashes, that way I could put them on the outside corner of my eye for some thickness and a fluttery effect. I ended up wearing the 070 because they looked more natural. I did have to trim down the length a bit, but not too much. The 117 are definitely thicker and more dramatic than the 070, which are more natural. The only problem I found with these was the fact that since it came pre-glued, the band was quite thick. I was fine with that for the shoot because it looked like I already had eyeliner on my lid, but otherwise, I think I'll try an eyelash glue next time.
These lashes held on tightly to my lash line and never once lifted up. Removing them was easy and painless as well. I gently peeled them off and that was all it took. A huge negative for me was the extra band of glue that both sets of lashes came with. I tried to get the extra band of glue onto the lashes and it did not work whatsoever. The lashes became almost stuck together and mangled. To reuse these, I recommend peeling off the remaining glue on the lashes and then using a liquid lash glue.
All in all, this was a good product to try out for beginners who are looking to attempt using false lashes for the first time. It was easy to use and hassle free. I hope this helped out some of you who are looking to try false lashes! Thanks so much for reading!

Worst Top Coat EVER!

Hello everyone! I've come to bring you a review on the worst top coat I've ever used in my life. This top coat has made my nail polish peel and chip faster than anything else. I feel that as a beauty blogger, it's my duty to inform you all of both good and bad products. So, let's get straight into the review!
This top coat is called the Salon Perfect Top Coat. I have used this on top of various brands of nail polish, such as OPI, Wet n' Wild, Essie, etc... The only things good about this top coat is that it's super fast drying and that it doesn't contain those three bad ingredients. Unfortunately, the bad outnumber the good in this case. This top coat has made my nail polish peel off within one single day, not even a full 24 hours. I usually paint my nails after my shower, and by the next day, I already have chips in my polish. Not only does it not protect the lacquer, it can cause the entire polish to peel off in one step. If I so much as poke at the polish that has miraculously been hanging on for two days, it will peel of it the perfect shape of my nail.
Using nail polish with this top coat has proven to be more difficult and less longer lasting than if I used a polish without any top coat at all. It's astounding how very badly this top coat performs. I bought this on a whim, when I was in dire need of a top coat and saw this at my local Wal-Mart for a reasonable price. When I do use this top coat, my nails need touching up after less than 24 hours. And in those less than 24 hours, my nails seem to look as though they have been through a week's worth of wear.
I hope this post helped out some of you in knowing what not to buy when looking for a quality top coat. Please do stay away from this one, it seems to be anything but a top coat. If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments! Thanks so much for reading and have a wonderful day!

MAC Party Line Lipstick Review

Hello everyone! Today I'm bringing to you a review on the MAC Party Line lipstick. I've been wanting this lipstick for a while, and I've been avidly using it since. Here's a picture of the ingredients below:

It's a lovely mid to deep tone of pinkish red. It's a cremesheen finish, which means that it has a bit of gloss and shine to it. Vibrant and bold once built up, but neutral and wearable when applied thinly. I read some reviews before buying this, and almost every reviewer had complaints of this migrating outside of the lip line. For me though, I've never had this issue; it wears for up to six hours without a need for touching up. Those six hours can only be achieved with no eating or drinking, though. I can safely say that this in no way migrates, smears, or feathers outside of the lip line. there's a delicious vanilla aroma to this lipstick, as is apparent with all of MAC's lip products.

I hope you all enjoyed reading this! Please do go and pick up this lipstick if the color interests you; it's a truly amazing color that would work well with any and every skin tone.
